Paint Correction
Swirls, haze, and wash marks live in the clear coat. Correction removes them in measured passes under light you can trust.

The half-corrected hood tells the truth
Correction is the least glamorous work in the building and the easiest to prove. The inspection light does not negotiate: the wash marring is gone or it is not, and you can see the exact line where we stopped on a half-corrected panel.
The gloss demo below is the sequence we walk through at the bench: uncorrected paint scatters light, corrected paint focuses it, coated paint keeps it that way. The readings are samples, but the sequence is real.

Gloss, as a number
Gloss units, read at 60 degrees. These are sample readings on a demo panel; your paint gets measured in the bay.
Scope
Machine polishing measured in passes, not promises. Where every real coating job starts.
How correction runs in this bay
- 01Wash, decontamination, and inspection before any pad touches paint
- 02Test spot first: the combination gets proven on your paint, not guessed
- 03Correction in measured passes, checked under the inspection light
- 04Clear communication about what is removable and what is permanent
- 05Protection conversation after: coating or film while the paint is at its best
Correction is quoted through the Correction + Coating package or scoped in the bay for correction-only work. Final number comes after we see the vehicle, confirm the film, and check the paint in the bay.
Questions
Common questions
Can every scratch be polished out?
Not all of them. Defects deeper than the clear coat cannot be polished out safely, and we point those out at inspection. Most swirl and haze comes right up.
Why does correction time vary so much?
Paint hardness, defect depth, and panel count. A test spot tells us how your paint responds, and the quote follows that, not a menu.
Should I coat right after correction?
It is the best time. The paint is at its best state and unprotected. Coating or film locks the result in before the freeway starts over.
