Wheel & Glass Protection

Wheels live in brake dust and glass lives in road spray. Both clean up faster with the right surface treatment.

The surfaces everyone forgets

Painted panels get all the attention, but wheels and glass take the most consistent abuse on a Michigan car: brake dust baked onto wheel faces, road film sprayed across the windshield from November through March. Surface treatment does not make any of that stop arriving. It makes it let go faster.

It is a small add-on by design. Books inside a coating or film appointment, priced like one, and earns its keep on the first winter wash day.

Scope

Coating chemistry for the surfaces that take brake dust, road film, and winter spray all year.

What the add-on covers

  • 01Wheel faces deep cleaned, decontaminated, and coated
  • 02Exterior glass treated for water behavior in Michigan rain and slush
  • 03Realistic expectations: maintenance gets easier, it does not disappear
  • 04Usually scheduled inside a coating or film appointment

$295-$695

Often added to coating or PPF work.

Final number comes after we see the vehicle, confirm the film, and check the paint in the bay.

Questions

Common questions

Is wheel coating worth it on a daily driver?

If you wash your own car, yes. Coated wheel faces release brake dust with far less scrubbing. If the car gets tunnel washes, we will say so: spend the money elsewhere.

Does glass treatment replace wipers?

No. At highway speed, water beads and rolls sooner, which most drivers appreciate in a Michigan downpour. You still need wipers.

Can this be added to any package?

Yes. It is priced as an add-on because it schedules best inside a coating or film appointment while the car is already in the bay.

  • Full Front PPF: Urethane film over the panels that meet Michigan roads first: bumper, hood, fenders, and mirrors.
